On May 14, a presentation of the book “The Aesthetics of Nomadism: The Code of National Identity” was held at Buketov National University.
This work is an in-depth study that offers a new perspective on the aesthetics of the civilization of the Great Steppe and the connection between national consciousness and cultural memory. The authors thoroughly examine how nomads perceived the world and what constitutes the spiritual code of the nation, emphasizing the importance of this historical heritage for modern society.
Presentations were delivered by Candidate of Philological Sciences Diar Konayev, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor Marat Sembin, illustrator and artist Kaldygul Zhanybayeva, historian Zifa Karakulova, Doctor of Philosophy Almira Nauryzbayeva, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan and poet Serik Aksunkaruly, as well as other representatives of the intellectual community. They addressed important issues concerning the philosophical depth of nomadic culture, its aesthetic world, and its role in shaping national identity.
At the end of the event, new books were presented to the university library, and guests and participants received commemorative gifts.
